- Mary Alice Osborne, Head Librarian and Library Media Specialist
I have come to the KAUST International School from the Shekou International School in Mainland China, where I was the Head Librarian for the past 2 years. Before that I was the Middle School - High School Librarian at the American Cooperative School of Tunis, in North Africa. I have two children: Yolanda who was married last summer, and is building a log cabin in Vermont with her new husband, and Elden, who attends the University of Vermont and is studying Community Development. In the photo at left you will see me doing one of my favorite activities: being outdoors, camping on a forever-wild island in Lake Champlain with my dog El Rianna. El Rianna was a stray we found in Africa (Tunisia) and brought home with us. She is the most wonderful dog around. She is back in the US, taking care of my mother who lives alone now, and I miss her a lot! See our personal website for great photos of my daughters wedding and Terry and my world travels!
